A dining room with a little old world romance
October 7, 2026

There is something really charming about this photo by Priscilla Van Hyden.
It has that slightly romantic, old world feeling, like a dining corner inside a quiet city apartment or a small hidden restaurant. The room feels warm and personal, with soft light, rich colours and enough detail to make it feel lived in rather than staged.
The photo features the Kerele Dining Set by CANARUN, shown here in a way that feels elegant but still very natural.
The table is the centre of the scene, but it does not feel like a plain product setup. It feels like someone has actually prepared the room. The plates, glasses, flowers and candles all help build that feeling of a table waiting for guests, while the chairs give the space a polished, grown-up look.
What I like most is the atmosphere around it.
The darker walls, the framed art, the plants and the warm lighting all make the dining set feel part of a proper interior. It is not just furniture placed in an empty room. It has a mood around it. A little dramatic, a little cosy, and very inviting.
The flowers on the table make a big difference too.
They soften the whole scene and bring a lighter touch to the richer tones. Against the darker background, they draw the eye straight to the table without making the styling feel too formal. It gives the dining area that nice balance between special and comfortable.
This is where the Kerele Dining Set works really well.
It gives you the main pieces for a complete dining space, but it also leaves room for your own style. You can make it modern, romantic, rustic, elegant or more casual depending on the room around it. Priscilla has taken it in a warm, classic direction, and it suits the set beautifully.
I also like that the scene feels ready to be used.
Sometimes dining rooms can look beautiful but a little untouched. This one feels different. You can imagine sitting down here, having a slow dinner, talking for ages, with the soft light and flowers making the whole space feel special.
It is a lovely example of how a dining set can become more than just a table and chairs.
With the right lighting and styling, it becomes the heart of the room.
